4.3 Error Messages

Check feed unit

The feed unit of the optional paper feeder is not installed correctly. Open the paper feeder paper cassette and correct the problem. This message appears only when the PF-647 paper feeder is installed on the printer.

	Clean the registration roller or main charger unit and then press the GO key.

Duplex disabled	You trying to perform duplex printing while a paper size and/or type that is
	not allowed for duplex printing is selected. Press the GO key to print on one

The hard disk installed in the printer is not formatted. Format the hard disk following the procedure in the hard disk Installation Guide.

A hard disk error of the type indicated by the error code that appears in place of ## has occurred. Refer to Storage error codes on page 4-11for informa- tion about error codes. To ignore the hard disk error, press the GO key.
