Replacing the Fuser Oil Bottle and Ozone Filter

Replace the oil bottle and ozone filter whenever the following messages ap- pear on the panel display.

4	The Fuser Oil Type204 includes a fus-
	er oil bottle and ozone filter.

RWARNING:

•Do not incinerate the oil bottle. This action could cause a fire or getting burned.

•Spilt oil is very slippery. If oil is spilt, wipe it with alkaline cleaner. Otherwise, the oily surfaces can create the dan- ger of slipping and personal injury.

RCAUTION:

•When accessing the inside of the machine, do not touch any sec- tions other than those specified in this manual. If you do, it might result in receiving a burn or inju- ry.

❒Disposal can take place at our au- thorized dealer or at appropriate collection sites.

❒Dispose of used ozone filters as general burnable refuse.

A Slide the top cover open lever to- wards the front of the printer, and open the top cover.

❒If the printer is equipped with the paper feed unit (optional) and the duplex unit (optional), first open the upper portion of the duplex unit, and then open the top cover of the printer.

B Rotate the lock levers to release the bottle, and then remove the oil bottle from the printer.
