Installing a Hard Drive
Use this procedure to add an optional hard drive to your system.
1.Power off the system. If locked, unlock and open the right front door.
2.Determine which hard drive cage will contain the new hard drive. Open the EMI metal panel in front of the hard drive cage by turning its two thumb lock screws counter clockwise (see Figure
3.The hard drive cage has four slots for mounting the hard drives. Confirm which slot of the hard drive cage the hard drive will be mounted. The SCSI ID (0 through 4) is determined by the slot number from left to right.
