6Perform an EDD using Overlay 43.

After the system is loaded, a menu-driven program called the “Software Installation Program” is automatically called up.

Procedure 28

Start-up procedure for a previously installed system

1Test the power outlet. Make sure that the correct voltage of power is present before you plug the power cord into the outlet. The source must match the label on the back of the chassis.

2Connect the power cord from the power connector on the back of the chassis to an AC power source. See Figure 63. Secure the power cable with a cable tie.

3Turn the power switch to “ON”.

4Observe the TTY or terminal screen.

Messages appear on the TTY or the terminal screen. When the message “INIXXX” appears, the system is in operation.

5If required, set the system time and date using Overlay 2.

6Perform an EDD using Overlay 43.
