Changing a route access code

Use this procedure to change a route access code.

Changing a route access code

1Lift the handset of the administration telephone.

2Enter the administration Flexible Feature Code to access the administration menu.

3Enter the default password for the administration telephone.

You hear special dial tone and the prompt “TASK?”

appears on the top line of the character display. If you press the asterisk, “2 CHANGE ROUTE ACCESS” appears on the second line of the character display.

4Select “2 CHANGE ROUTE ACCESS” by entering the number “2”.

The prompt “ROUTE ACCESS?”

appears on the character display.

5Enter the access code of the route you want to modify, and press the pound key (#).

The prompt

“NEW ACCESS CODE?”

asks you for a new access code for the route.
