
5When plain or other
When paper with a coarse surface is used for full colour printing, ink will be missing from certain points where it was difficult to deposit. To correct this, you can attempt the following.
a Set the Halftone setting in the More Set- tings dialogue box to Standard Dither for printing. The image will be coarse, but the ink will transfer to the paper more reliably.
b If you have VPhoto Primer ink, the image quality may be improved by providing an undercoat.
6When coloured paper is used for full colour printing, the colours are not reproduced correctly.
Colour printing is based on the colours repro- duced when ink is printed on white paper, so cor- rect colours cannot be reproduced on coloured paper. DP printers, however, can provide the fol- lowing forms of printing even on coloured paper:

tones close to those obtained by printing on white paper.

7Colour images in the same document look different.
Make sure that you select the same media type and print mode. The media type presets the most suitable settings for your document. If you change the media type or print mode, it will affect the printed results.
