•From the Service tab, users can start, stop, and monitor the status of the PDS Server service.
Renaming the Server
The PDS Server Configuration Utility allows you to rename the PDS Server.
To rename the PDS Server:
1Open the PDS Server Configuration Utility.
2Open the Server tab. Indicate a new name or IP address for your PDS Server.
a Click Use Machine Name to use the name of the PDS Server appliance for the Server name.
3Click Save in the PDS Server Configuration Utility toolbar.
4In the Service tab, click Stop to stop the Polycom Digital Signage Server.
5 Start the service.
6Make all necessary subsequent changes via the Remote Manager and Player agents.
Port Configuration
The TCP ports used by the PDS Server can be changed via the PDS Server
Configuration Utility.
