Configuration
The CONFIGURATION MENU item provides access to a series of submenus to configure various parameters of the unit, DTE, and network.
Highlight Configuration in the INVERSE MULTIPLEXER MAIN MENU and press Enter to access the CONFIGURATION MENU. See Figure

To access any of the configuration submenus, highlight the desired item and press the Enter key. The following are samples and descriptions of the submenus that can be accessed from the CONFIGURATION MENU.
Unit Configuration
Highlighting UNIT and pressing the Enter key accesses the UNIT CONFIGURATION MENU shown in Figure
The following parameters can be set or changed for the Node: DATE,
TIME, ALARM ENABLE, AUTOMATIC BACKUP, FRONT PANEL, PERMIT SELECT DEVICE ACCESS FROM REMOTE, UNIT NUMBER, UNIT NAME and LOCAL TERMINAL BAUD RATE, BITS/PARITY, STOP BITS,
