Blocking Colour Copying

You can prevent unauthorized use of colour copying by requiring a special PIN (Personal Identification Number) to use colour copying.

Take the following steps to activate this feature and set the PIN:

1Press Setup. The display shows “1.SYSTEM SETUP” on the bottom line.

2Press Enter.

3Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) until you see “PIN CODE” on the bottom line of the display.

4Press Enter.

5Press Scroll button ( or ) to select “ON” to activate this feature or “OFF” to disable this feature.

6If you selected “ON”, the next display prompts you to enter the PIN code number. Use the number keypad to enter the PIN. It is preset to 0000.

7Press Enter to save the selection.

Note that you have to enter the PIN when the display prompts to activate colour copying .
