Set Up

Power Save

Your product reduces power consumption when it is not in actual

use. This Power Save Mode setting allows you to select the length

of time the product waits after a job is printed before it switches to

a reduced power state.

Press Setup. The display shows “1.SYSTEM SETUP” on the

bottom line.

Press Enter.

Press the Scroll buttons ( or ) until you see “POWER

SAVE MODE” on the display and then press Enter. The current

setting displays.

Press the Scroll buttons ( or )until you see the desired

time on the display. The available options are 1 HOUR, 4

HOURS, 8 HOURS, and 12 HOURS.

Press Enter to save the selection.

NOTE:

If the product detects a document(s) in the ADF, the Power

Save mode is not activated. Do not leave documents in the ADF if not

used.
