5.9.6Digital Signature

The Digital Signature function enables the user to export a video clip with the unit’s unique signature key. It aims to authenticate a video clip exported from the unit and prove it has not been modified. The user can export a video clip with or without a digital signature file (*.sig). Set the item to <YES> to export with the signature file, or <NO> to export without the signature file.

Make sure that you have an external storage device, such as a USB Hard Drive or USB ThumbDrive®, available and connected to the appropriate port for export.

5.9.7Erase Disc

This function is used to remove information found on a CD-RW or DVD+RW disk prior to exporting new information to the drive. Select <YES> and press ENTER to start deleting data.

NOTE: This menu item will be grayed out when selected device is not a CD/ DVD recorder or not select yet.

5.9.8Begin Export

Select <YES> and press ENTER to start exporting.

5.10Shutdown

This item is used to shut down or reboot the unit. If you must shut down the DVR-4TN/8TN/16TN/16TS/16TTseries unit for any reason, please use the proper shut down and power up procedures to avoid damage to your unit.

Select <Shutdown> in Main menu and press ENTER to access the Shutdown menu, which displays as follows.

2.	Reboot	Execute
