Driver
A program that controls a device. Every device, whether it is a printer, disk drive, or keyboard, must have a driver program. A driver acts like a translator between the device and programs that use the device.

Extension (Local)
A Local Extension is any telephone or analog device (answering machine, fax, etc.) that is plugged into one of the ‘Extensions’ jacks located on the back panel of your TalkSwitch.
Extension (Remote)
A call forwarding number that can be any telephone number, in any location.
