Resetting the GA-1040

Resetting the GA-1040 refers to tasks that help you troubleshoot problems: Restore Defaults, Clear Server, and Printer Reset.

Restoring the GA-1040 to factory defaults

Choose Restore Defaults to return the GA-1040 to its default factory settings.

Clearing the GA-1040

This option allows you to clear all queued print jobs from the GA-1040—jobs in the GA-1040 Print, Hold, and Printed queues.

Resetting the GA-1040 hardware

You can reset the hardware on the GA-1040. On the Reset tab, choose Printer Reset. If you have changed any network settings, you must reset the printer before the new settings will take effect.
