Using the Arpeggio function

Arpeggio Type, Tempo, and Limit

A variety of Arpeggio types are provided with the MOTIF. You can change the tempo of Arpeggio as desired. The Arpeggio function is available in all modes.

The explanation below applies to the Performance Play mode.

1 Call up the ARP (Arpeggio) display by pressing the

2 Select an Arpeggio Bank.
[F6] button in the Performance Play mode.

Move the cursor to the Bank parameter and select.

5Set the Velocity Limit for Arpeggio playback. Move the cursor to the Velocity Limit parameter and set.

The Arpeggio is played back only when the key is played at a velocity within this range.

6Set the Arpeggio part switch.

You can set the Arpeggio playback on or off for each part. Move the cursor to the checkbox of the desired part and checkmark the box to on.

7Store the Arpeggio settings to

the desired User Performance.

The Arpeggio settings can be stored to a User Voice, a User Performance, or a Song/Pattern Mixing setup.
