Modify a Trap Host Table Entry

Delete a Trap Host Table Entry

Note

The Community Name must correlate with one of the communities displayed on the SNMP Community Table page. See “SNMP Community Strings” on page 196. If you enter a Community Name that has not been pre-defined, the Trap Host entry is displayed, but agent/manager communication fails.

7.Click Add.

The new host is added to the table.

8.From the main menu on the left side of the page, select Save Configuration to Flash to permanently save your changes.

If you need to modify an SNMP Trap entry, you must first delete the entry by using the procedure below and then re-enter it with the modification by creating a new SNMP trap- see “SNMP Traps” on page 198.

Use the following procedure to delete a Host table entry:

1.From the main menu on the left side of the page, select the SNMP folder.

The SNMP folder expands.

2.From the SNMP folder, select Trap Management.

3.The Trap Management Page is displayed. See Figure 67 on page 198.
