Syslog Daemon Screen

To open this menu from the main menu, select Configuration Syslog.

The syslog facility is used to send messages to a central place in your network where messages can be logged. Any message that is entered into the message log of the switch is also sent to up to 20 syslog receivers using IP UDP communication. There are two types of messages in the switch, Warnings and Info messages.

A syslog facility code can be assigned to each of them.

On this screen you can configure up to 20 receivers.
