Using Tone Dialing on a Pulse Line

Many telephone information services for banks, airline reservations, hotel reservations, etc., require tone dialing for accessing their services. If your machine is connected to a rotary pulse line, follow the procedure below to set the machine to tone dialing temporarily.

1 Press [Hook] ➞ Specify the destination.

2 When the recorded message of the information service answers, open all three one-touch speed dialing panels ➞ press [Tone].

To adjust the speaker volume, slide the speaker volume switch on the control panel.
