Tape Drive Operation

Displaying information about tape drives

From the operator panel, you can display information about the tape drive, including the type of tape drive installed and its operational status. The information screens are updated whenever there is a change in drive status.

To display tape drive information:

1.From the Main Menu, select the Library Info Menu. Then select the Drive Info Menu. The following screen appears:

2.Press >￿@ or >￿@ to select the desired tape drive and press >(QWHU@. A Drive Status screen appears, similar to the following:
