Print cartridge life expectancy

Average cartridge yield is 30,000 pages in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752. Actual yield depends on specific use.

Check the print cartridge life

You can check the print cartridge life on the MFP control panel, in the embedded Web server, MFP software, HP Easy Printer Care, or through the HP Web Jetadmin software.

On the MFP control panel

1.From the Home screen, touch Administration.

2.Touch Information.

3.Touch Configuration Page.

4.Touch Supplies Status Page.

5.Touch Print.

NOTE: If you are using non-HP supplies, the supplies status page might not show the remaining life for those supplies.

In the embedded Web server

1.In your browser, type the IP address or host name for the printer home page. This takes you to the printer status page.

2.On the left side of the screen, click Supplies Status. This takes you to the supplies status page, which provides print cartridge information.

Through HP Easy Printer Care

In the Overview tab in the Supplies Status section, click Supplies Details to open the supplies status page.

Through HP Web Jetadmin

In HP Web Jetadmin, select the printer device. The device status page shows print cartridge information.
