Blocking Internet advertisements
Use text strings to identify ads to block or permit
4On the Ad Blocking tab, click Add.
5In the Add New HTML String dialog box, select the action that you want to take. Your options are:
Block | Block ads matching this string. |
Permit | Allow ads matching this string. |

6Type an HTML string to block or permit.
7Click OK.
Modify or remove an Ad Blocking string
If you later decide that an Ad Blocking string is too restrictive, not broad enough, or not appropriate, you can change or remove it.
To modify or remove an Ad Blocking string
1Open Norton Personal Firewall.
2At the top of the Security Center window, click Options > Internet Security.
3On the Web Content tab, on the Ad Blocking tab, do one of the following:

4In the HTML string list, select the string that you want to change.
5Do one of the following:
2 To modify a string, click Modify, then type your changes.
