C.If the single-frame holder adapter is not in the Scanner, put it in place in the Scanner. Do so by holding it in the orientation shown below with the slots (at the left and right of the adapter) facing forward, and then slide the slots all the way down over the edges of the front of the metal frame in the Scanner.
