Appendix B — WARRANTYKODAK ProfessionalRFS 3570 Film Scanner

THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE UNITED STATES. THIS WAR-

RANTY APPLIES ONLY FOR SERVICING EQUIPMENT ORIGINALLY

PURCHASED IN THE UNITED STATES.

Kodak warrants your KODAK Professional RFS 3570 Film Scanner to be

free from malfunctions and defects in both materials and workmanship for

12 months from the date of purchase.

If this equipment does not function properly during the warranty period,

due to defects in materials or workmanship, Kodak will at its option,

either repair or replace the equipment, without charge, subject to the

conditions and limitations stated herein. Such repair service will include

all labor as well as any necessary adjustments and/or replacement parts in

order to maintain the equipment in an operating condition consistent with

Kodak’s specifications. Kodak will also provide telephone assistance

during the warranty period.

Unless a specific Kodak warranty is communicated to the purchaser in

writing by a Kodak company, no other warranty or liability exists beyond

the information contained above, even though defect, damage or loss may

be by negligence or other act.

If replacement parts are used in making repairs, these parts may be

remanufactured, or may contain remanufactured materials. If it is neces-
