1Unpack the printer.

To

Connect additional devices, such as data/fax modem, telephone, or answering machine to the printer.

Note: Remove the plug to access the port.

Connect the printer to a computer using a USB cable.

Warning: Do not touch the USB port except when plugging in or removing a USB cable or installation cable.

•Place the printer near the computer during setup. If you're setting up on a wireless network, you may move the printer after setup is complete.
