Loading labels in Tray 1

You can load up to 25 sheets of labels at a time.

1Load labels into the paper tray with the printable side facing down and the top of the sheet feeding into the printer first.

2Make sure:

•You load letter- or A4-size label sheets.

•The print side of the labels faces down.

•The top of the labels feeds into the printer first.

•You use full label sheets. Partial sheets (with areas exposed by missing labels) may cause labels to peel off during printing, resulting in a paper jam.

•The paper guides rest against the left, right, and bottom edges of the labels.

Note: Labels require more drying time. Remove each sheet of labels as it exits, and allow it to dry to avoid ink smudging.

Loading cards in Tray 1

You can load up to 25 cards.

1Make sure:

•The cards are designed for inkjet printers.

•The thickness of each card does not exceed 0.025 inches.

•The cards are not used or damaged.

•The printable side is facing down.

•You follow the instructions that came with the cards.

2Load the cards in the center of the tray, as indicated by the 4 x 6 in. (10 x 15 cm.) outline.

Note: Do not force the cards into the printer.
