Using Nextel Direct SendSM
Contacts entries that contain only addresses
cannot be sent. When Contacts entries are
received, they do not include ring tones or pictures.
These items from the recent calls list can be sent:
•Contact information sent f ro m oth er ph on es
•Calls to or from numbe r s sto r ed in yo ur Co nt act s
list
Sending Information During a Call
1While in a Direct Connect call, press m.
2Select Contacts or Recent Calls.
3Scroll to the Contac ts entry or item in the recent
calls list you want to sen d.
4Press m.
5Select Send Contact or Send Group.
6When Ready to Send appears on the dis pl ay,
press the PTT button to send the in formation.
Starting a Call by Sending Inform ation
1From Contacts or the rece nt calls list scroll to or
select the entry you want to send.
2Press m.
3Select Direct Send Contact or Send Group.
4Use the keypad to enter the D irect Connect
number you want t o send. -or-
Press A under Browse. Select Contacts,
Recent Calls, or Memo. Select the number you
want to enter.
5When Ready to Send ap pears on the display,
press the PTT button to send the information.
Receiving My Info or Contact Information
When you receive My Info or contact informat io n
from another phone, an icon appears on the
display:
To view the information w hile still in the Direct
Connect call:
1Press m.
2Select View Con tact.
You can also view My Info from other phones on
the recent calls list. See “Rece nt Cal ls ” on pag e 40.
