Setting the Volume

Of the Earpiece and Sp eaker
1From the main menu, select Settings > Volume.
2Scroll to Earpiece to set the earpiece volume.

Scroll to Speaker to set the spe a ker volume.
3To set the volum e:
Scroll left or right. -or-
Press the volume control s.
Of the Ringer
Press the volume controls .

Setting Your Phone to Vibrate

To set your phone to vibrate instead of making a
sound when you receive pho ne calls, Direct
Connect calls, Group C on ne ct calls, Talkgroup
calls, call alerts, mes sage notifications, and
Datebook remind ers, see “Setting Your Phone to
Vibrate” on page 70.
To set your phone to vibrate instead of making a
sound when you receive Dir ect Connect calls,
Group Connect calls, and Talkgroup calls, even if
you want your phone to ring for other features:
1From the main menu, sele ct Settings > DC/GC
Options > Alert Type.
Tip:If Alert Type does not ap pear: From the
main menu, select Ring Tone s . Make sure
VibeAll is set to Off. Repeat step 1.
2Select Vibrate to set your phone to vibrat e.
Tip:Select Silent in step 2 to set your phone to
neither vibrate no r make a sound.
