Getting Started

5Enter a new 4- to 8-digit SIM PIN.

6Re-enter your SIM PIN.

Note:T hese steps must be pe rformed in quick

succession.

If you entered the codes properly, SIM Unlocked

appears on the display .

Inserting and Removing Your SIM Card

Important: Do not touch the gold-colored areas of

your SIM card.

The SIM card is de signed for optimal C ontacts

storage and featu re use. For Nextel S IM card

compatibility informati on, visit nextel.com/sim.

Note:I n some cases, Conta cts and Groups may

not be accessible if y ou move your SIM

card to another phone. Contacts and

Groups created with your i760 phone are

not readable by an older iDE N SIM- ba sed

phone.

If you remove your SIM card and use it with

another phone, or use another SIM card with your

phone, the following information is erased:

•The recent calls list

•Call forwarding set tings

•Net alerts

•MMS messages

•Options set using t he MMS Setup menu

•Information stored in Memo

•Pictures and audio recordings in the media

center, except those that are forward l ocked

•3 most recent GPS Enabled locations

•Voice records

•Voice names

•Datebook events

•Options set using t he Personalize menu

1With your phone powered off, remove the

battery door and ba ttery.

2Slide the latch away from the SIM card holder.
