Not carry the radio product in a breast pocket.
Use the ear opposite t he pac ema ke r to mini mi ze
the potential for interference.
Turn the radio produc t OFF immediately i f you
have any reason to suspect t hat interference is
taking place.

Hearing Aids

Some digital wireless radio products may interfere
with some hearing aids. In the event of such
interference, you may want to consult your hearing
aid manufacturer to discuss alternatives.

Other Medical Devices

If you use any other personal medical device,
consult the manufacturer o f your device to
determine if it is adequately shielded f rom RF
energy. Your physician may be able to assist you
in obtaining this information.

Use While Driving

Check the laws and regulatio ns on th e us e of ra di o
products in the area where you drive. Always obey
them.
When using the radi o product while dr iving, please:
Give full attention t o driving and to th e road.
Use hands-free operation, if available.
Pull off the road and park before making or
answering a call if driving conditions so require.

For Vehicles with an Air

Bag

Do not place a por table radio product in the area
over the air bag or in the air bag deployment area.
Air bags inflate with great force. If a portable radio
is placed in the air bag d ep lo yme nt ar ea an d the a i r
bag inflates, the radio product may be propell ed
with great force and cause serious injury to
occupants of the vehicle.

Potentially Explosive Atmospheres

Turn off your radio product prior to entering any
area with a potentially ex pl os iv e atmosphere,
unless it is a radio product typ e es pe cial ly qua li fie d
for use in such a reas as “Intrinsica lly Safe” (for
example, Factory Mutual, CSA, or UL approved).
Do not remove, install, or charge batteries in suc h
areas. Sparks in a poten tially explosive
atmosphere can ca use an explosion or fire
resulting in bodily injury or even death .
