Call Forwarding
Turning Off Call Forwarding
If you do not want all your calls forwarded, turn the
feature off:
1From the main menu, sele ct Call Forward > To.
2Set this option to Off.
All your calls ar e now sent to your phone.
Calls you miss are forw ard ed according to the
options set for missed ca lls. By default, missed
calls are forwarded to vo ice mail.
Forwarding Missed Calls
You can specify a forwar ding nu mb er f or each ty pe
of missed call:
•If Busy — Your phone is on a ca ll or transferring
data.
If No Answer — You do not answer on the first
4 rings.
If Unreachable — Your phone is out of
coverage or powe red off.
Note:If you want a type of missed call sent to
voice mail, the call forwarding number for
that type of missed call m ust be your
voice mail access number . In most cas es ,
your voice mail access number is your
area code + first 3 digits of your PTN +
MAIL (6245). To verify your voice mail
access number, contact Nexte l Cu st om e r
Care.
To forward missed calls:
1From the main menu, sele ct Call Forward >
Forward > Detailed.
2Select If Busy to specify a fo rwarding number
for calls received when your phone is busy.
3If you specified a forward ing numbe r for th is typ e
of call before, this numbe r displays.
To forward calls to this n umber, press B under
Back and go to step 6. -o r-
To delete this number, pr ess O, then press an d
hold A under Delete.
4To enter the number you want to forward this
type of call to:
Enter the number u sing your keypad. -or-
Press A under Search. Select Contacts,
Recent Calls, or Memo. Select the number you
want to enter.
