Accessing the Message C enter

Message Center

The message center manages your messages.

When you receive the following types of

messages, you can acce ss them through the

message center:

•Voice mail messages

•Multimedia Messag ing Service (MMS)

messages

•Short Message Ser vice (SMS) messag es

You can listen to or view these messages, delete

them, or continue to store them in th e message

center.

The message center also lets you create and send

MMS messages. It sto res messages you ha ve sent

and lets you save drafts of messages you are

creating.

Accessing the Message

Center

From the main menu, sele ct Messages.

Message Center Options

After accessing the message center, select the

option you want:

• [Create Message] — beg in creating an MMS

message.

• Voice Mail — access voice mail messages you

have received.

• Inbox — access MMS messages you have

received.

•Drafts — access MMS messages you have

created and saved but not sent.

•Sent Items — access MMS mess ages yo u have

created and sent.

•Net Alert — access over-the-air alerts that you

receive from Nextel .

•SMS — access SMS* messages you have

received.
