Making Calls
Note:I f you do not assign a name, the Group is
named “Group” foll owed by the number of
members in the Grou p. For example,
“Group (8)” for a group with 8 members.
4Add Group members. See “Adding Group
Members”.
5If you want to create a voic e name for the
Group, select [Options] > Voice Name. As
directed by the sc reen prompts, say and repeat
the voice name you w ant to assign to the G roup.
Speak clearly into the microphone.
6Press A under Save.
Adding Group Mem bers
You can add Grou p members that hav e a Direct
Connect number and Grou p Connect-compatib le
phone to your Group by selecting them from
Contacts, the rec ent calls list, mem o, or manually
entering the Direct Connect number from your
keypad. You can also add all membe rs in an
existing Group to anot her Group by selecting the
Group name from Contacts.
To add Group members from Contacts, the recent
calls list, or Memo:
1While creating a Group, select [Add Member].
-or-
2Select [Add Number] and press A under
Browse.
Note:To move betwe en Contacts, the recent
calls list, and Memo, scroll left or right, or
press * or #.
3Scroll to the members you w ant from Contacts,
the recent calls list, or Memo and press O. A
checkmark appears next to each selected
member.
Note:To deselect a member, scroll to a se le cted
member and press O.
4Press A under Done.
To add Group members manually from the keypad:
1While creating a Gr oup, select [Add Number].
2Enter the Direct Connect number using the
keypad.
3Press O.
Making Group Connect Calls
With the Flip Open
1From Contacts or the recent calls list, scroll to or
select the Group yo u want. -or-
Press and hold t until a promp t appe ars tel lin g
you to say the vo ice name. Say the vo ice name
assigned to the Group you want. -or-
