Group ConnectSM Calls
Group Connect Call Details
During a Group Connect call, you can view details
about the other group members, such as their
name or Direct Co nnect number, and their status
on the call.

In the Details view, these icons appear next to
member names or Direct Connect num bers:
Sending Groups Using Nextel Direct
SendSM
You can send a Group using N ex tel Dir ec t Se nd so
that the person who rec eives the Group can use
the list.
1From Contacts or the recent calls list, scroll to or
select the Group yo u want.
2Press m.
3Select Send Group.
4To include yourself in the Group, press A under
Yes. -or-
To exclude yourself from the Group, press A
under No.
Note:If you choose to include yourself and the
Group already contain s 20 members, you
will be prompted that the list is full. You
will be excluded from the list.
5Enter the Direct Connect number of the person
you want to send th e Group to. -or-
Select Browse to select a contact from
Contacts, the recent calls list, or Memo.
6Press O.
7To send the Group, push the PTT button.
The Group will displa y in the recent calls l ist on
the phone that you send the Group to.
TThe member of the Group who is speaking.
AA member of the G roup who is active o n the
Group Connect call, but not speaking.
OA member of the G roup who has exited the
call.
UA member of the G roup who could not b e
reached on the Group Conn ec t call.
uA member of the G roup whose status is
unknown.
