Connecting peripheral devices to the 201i server

To connect the CD-ROM and tape drives to the 201i server (Succession 1000)

1Connect the first SCSI device.

2Follow instructions below:

IF the first
device is the	THEN

CD-ROM drive	do the following:
	a. Attach the A0769312 SCSI adapter to the
	CD-ROM drive.
	b. Connect the NTRH3502 SCSI cable that you
	installed earlier on the Succession 1000 Media
	Gateway or Media Gateway Expansion to the SCSI
	adapter on the CD-ROM drive.

tape drive	connect the NTRH3502 SCSI cable that you installed
	earlier on the Succession 1000 Media Gateway or
	Media Gateway Expansion to the tape drive.

3Connect an additional device in a daisy chain if required, using either the SCSI cable supplied with the device or an NTRH3502 cable.
