The OkiNet for VINES Utility
Overview
This section contains information about the OkiNet for VINES utility. OkiNet for VINES is also known as VPMAN. OkiNet for VINES is provided by OKI to configure and manage the OkiLAN 6100e+. OkiNet for VINES supports Banyan VINES versions 5.0 and higher.

Installing the OkiNet for VINES Utility
Before installing the OkiNet for VINES, you must do the following:
•Install the OkiLAN 6100e+ hardware and connect the cabling.
•Write down the serial number and Ethernet address of the OkiLAN 6100e+.
•Make sure your network is fully operational.
•Create StreetTalk User Name and Print Service(s) for the OkiLAN 6100e+ (Chapter 2).
•Install OkiNet for VINES - see Section I.
