Overview
This section contains information about the OkiNet for OS/2 utility. This utility allows you to install and configure the OkiLAN 6100e+ for your specific environment. The utility provides configuration information and allows you to print a configuration sheet.

Supported Environments
The OkiLAN 6100e+ is supported in the following operating environments:
•OS/2 version 1.3 with LAN Manager version 2.X
•OS/2 version 1.3 through 2.X with LAN Server version 2.X and 3.X
•OS/2 Warp 3.0 with LAN Server version 4.X
CSD Levels
IBM provides maintenance upgrades to OS/2 in the form of Corrective Service Diskettes (CSDs). We strongly recommend that you use the most recent CSDs available, because the CSDs include fixes to the OS/2 print subsystem. Contact IBM at
Client Nodes
A printer connected to the network can be accessed from DOS and other network nodes properly configured as LAN Manager/LAN Server client nodes.
You should be familiar with the OS/2 Print Management utilities. See your OS/2 manuals for more information.
