Guidelines
Before installation, you will need to consider the
following:
■When referencing a component on the rear panel it is
assumed the user is facing the rear panel and when
referencing the front panel compo nents the
assumption is that the user is facing the fron t panel.
■Interior temperature of the rack c abinet should be
maintained at ambient temperatures but must not
exceed 117°F (47°C) during normal operation.
■Remove each piece from the shipping carton, leaving
the disk drives in their anti-static protective
packaging until you are ready to install th em. Save
the packing materials in case you need to ship the
DEU.
■ Secure all cable connectors using the thumb screws
(finger tight only).
