Also, remember that your TreoPro smartphone includes an expansion card slot, and that you
can store applications and information on expansion cards. However, you still need free
memory on the device itself torun applications from an expansion card.

Is the Other Person Hearing an Echo?

䢇Try decreasing the volume on your smartphone to avoid coupling or feedback on the
other person’s end. This applies to both the speakerphone and the handset earpiece.
䢇Position the smartphone closer to your ear to prevent sound leaking back to the
microphone. Keep your hand away from the microphone hole in the lower-left corner of
your device.
䢇If you’re using Speakerphone mode with your smartphone lying ona flat surface, try
turning the device face-down (screen facing the surface).

Are You Hearing Your Own Voice Echo?

Ask the other person to turn down the volume or to hold the smartphone closer to his or
her ear.

Is Your Voice Too Quiet on the Other End?

Be sure to hold the bottom of the TreoPro smartphone, or the hands-free microphone, close
to your mouth.
Check the signal-strength indicator. If the signal is weak, try to find anarea with
better coverage.
