Read and understand the following notes while planning your installation:
1.Refer to national and local electrical codes for acceptable external wiring practices.
2.Material and labor for external wiring requirements are to be provided by designated personnel.
3.For external wiring, use 90°C copper wire.
See the appropriate column in Tables A, B, and O.
4.Refer to the appropriate UPS installation manual for UPS module and optional equipment installation notes.
5.A bypass neutral feeder must be installed when the output neutral is used. If no bypass neutral is installed, the output neutral is to be bonded to the chassis in the SSBM through a minimum size copper conductor listed in Table H on Sheet 3 of Drawing
NOTE: The required neutral conductors must be spread evenly as possible between the available neutral runbacks.
6.External overcurrent protection is not provided by this product, but is required by codes. Refer to Tables A, B, and O for wiring requirements. If an output lockable disconnect is required, it is to be supplied by designated personnel.
7.Terminals E1 through E17 are
8.The system supports either a single common battery shared by all UPS modules or a separate battery for each UPS module. The system supports either valve regulated lead acid batteries or flooded (wet cell) batteries.
9.The rectifier inputs and bypass input three phase feeds should be symmetrical about ground, due to the existence of voltage surge protection devices.
10.The
11.The SSBM can be equipped for separate input feeds for the SSBM Bypass input and the SMB Bypass input or for a single input feed for both the SSBM Bypass Input and the SMB Bypass Input.
