Storage And Handling

Storage

Do not store cartons directly on the floor, and do not stack them more than six high. Set each carton upright and squarely on the one underneath. Do not place anything else on the stack of paper, because this can damage the paper.

Preconditioning Forms

Protect paper from temperature and humidity extremes. Store paper in the same environment as the printer for 24 to 48 hours before using the paper. This allows the moisture content of the paper to stabilize.

LP Series and LineJet printers are used at temperatures from 5° to 40° C

(41° to 104° F) up to 1524 meters (5000 feet), from 5° to 32° C (41° to 90° F) up to 2438 meters (8000 feet), with a non-condensing relative humidity of 10% to 90%. For best results, however, store the printer paper at 18° to 24° C (65° to 75° F), with a relative humidity of 40% to 50%.

If the printer is in an environment subject to extremes of temperature or humidity, store the printer paper in a better environment and move it to the printer as needed.
