Novell Environment Description

The NIC card supports network printing under Novell environments by using

IPX. It supports all 3.1X versions of NetWare. Figure 20 pr ovides a Novell

setup overview. Version 4.1X is supported under bin dery emulation only.

Novell NIC Configuration

Mandatory

Under all Novell environments, the NIC card does not requir e any network

settings to make it visible on the network. Simply plug it in to your network and

power it on. However, with a new print queue setup on a Novell file ser ver,

there can be some mandatory settings needed on the NIC.
