Novell Environment Description

The NIC card supports network printing under Novell environments by using IPX. It supports all 3.1X versions of NetWare. Figure 20 provides a Novell setup overview. Version 4.1X is supported under bindery emulation only.

Novell NIC Configuration

Mandatory

Under all Novell environments, the NIC card does not require any network settings to make it visible on the network. Simply plug it in to your network and power it on. However, with a new print queue setup on a Novell file server, there can be some mandatory settings needed on the NIC.
