Programs

You can store frequently used copy job settings in machine memory, and recall them for future use.

 

 

Limitation

 

You cannot store the settings whether the Connect Copy function will be se-

lected automatically in a program.

Note

You can store up to ten programs.

You can select the standard mode or program No. 10 as the mode to be set

when modes are cleared or reset is made, or immediately after the operation switch is turned on. See “Initial Mode” in ⇒ P.313 “General Features 2/3.

Paper settings are stored based on paper size. So if you place more than one paper tray of the same size, the paper tray prioritized with the User Tools (System Settings) will be selected first. See “Paper Tray Priority” in the Sys- tem Settings manual.

Programs are not cleared by turning the power off or by pressing the {Clear Modes/Energy Saver}key. They are canceled only when you delete or overwrite them with another program.

If your program contains settings that are not available in Connect Copy mode, they are ignored in Connect Copy mode.

If your program contains settings that are not available on the sub-unit, they are ignored in Connect Copy mode.

Storing a Program

AEdit the copy settings so that all functions you want to store in this program are selected.
