Configuring the VCS as a Traversal ClientAdding a New Traversal Client Zone

VCS Configuration > Zones.

You will be taken to the Zones page.

Select New.

You will be taken to the Create Zone page.

Name

Enter the name you wish to give to this zon e.

The name acts as a unique identif ier, allowing

you to distinguish between zones of t he same

type.

Type

From the Type drop-down m enu, select

TraversalClient.

Create Zone

Click here to create the zone. You will be

taken directly to the Edit Zone pa ge, where

you can configure the traver sal client zone as

required.

Overview

To enable your VCS to act as a traversal

client on behalf of its endpoint s and neighbor

gatekeepers, you must create a con nection

between it and a traversal ser ver (e.g. a VCS

Border Controller).

You do this by adding a new traversal clien t

zone and configuring it with th e details of the

traversal server.

You can create more than one

traversal client zone if you wish to

connect to multiple travers al servers.
