About the External Manager
An External Manager is a rem ote system, such
as the TANDBERG Management Suite ( TMS),
used to monitor events occurri ng on the VCS,
for example call attempts, conn ections and
disconnections.
The use of an External Manage r is optional.
In order to use an External Ma nager, you must
configure the VCS with the IP ad dress or host
name and path of the Extern al Manager to be
used.
If you are using TMS as your external
manager, use the default path of
tms/public/ external/management/
SystemManagementSer vice.asmx.

To configure the VCS’s External Manag er
settings:
System Configuration > External Manager.
You will be taken to the External Man ager
page.

Save
Click here to save your changes.

Address

Sets the IP address or FQDN of th e External
Manager.

Path

Sets the path of the Extern al Manager.
