Field Description

Call-Id The Call-ID header field uniquely identif ies a particular invita tion or all registrations of a par ticular client.

To (for REGISTER requests): the AOR for the REGIS TER request.

RequestURI The SIP or SIPS URI indi cating the user or servic e to which this request is being ad dressed.

NumBytes The number of by tes sent/received in the messa ge.

Duration Request/granted registrat ion expiry duration

Time A full UTC timestamp in YY YY/MM/DD-HH:MM:SS forma t. Using this format permits si mple ASCII text sorting /ordering to naturally sort by t ime. This is included due to

the limitations of standard sy slog timestamps.

Level The level of the event as define d in section 16.3.1.

In addition to the events descri bed above, a syslog.info event containing the string MA RK will be logged once an hou r to provide confirmation t hat logging is still active.
