H.323 protocol
Determines which of the two f irewall traversal
protocols (Assent or H.460.18) to use for c alls
to the traversal server. (See Fire wall Traversal
Protocols for more informatio n.)
H.323 port
Specifies the port on th e traversal server to
be used for H.323 calls to and from the lo cal
VCS.
SIP transport
Determines which transpor t type will be used
for SIP calls to and from the traver sal server.
SIP port
Specifies the port on th e traversal server to
be used for SIP calls to and from the VC S.

Retry interval

Specifies the interval i n seconds with which a
failed attempt to establish a co nnection to the
traversal server should b e retried.
Primary address
Specifies the IP address or F QDN of the
traversal server.

Alternate 1 to Alternate 5 address

Specifies the IP addresse s or FQDNs of any
alternates configured on the t raversal server.
H.323 mode
Determines whether H.323 calls w ill be
allowed to and from the traversa l server.
SIP mode
Determines whether SIP calls w ill be allowed
to and from this zone.
For firewall traversal to work v ia
H.323, the traversal server m ust have
a traversal server zone con figured on it
to represent this VCS, using this sam e port
number.
For firewall traversal to work v ia SIP,
the traversal server must h ave a
traversal server zone con figured on it
to represent this VCS, using this sam e
transport type and po rt number.
For full details on how traversal c lient
zones and traversal server z ones work
together to achieve firewall tra versal,
see Firewall Traversal.
