Using TANDBERG’s FindMe™

Configuring your FindMe User Account

Type
Select whether this FindM e name is to apply
to an individual or a group of peopl e. This
will affect how calls are diver ted to the Busy
devices.

Ring the primary devices

Select the amount of time in seco nds you
wish the devices in the Primar y list to ring
before the call is diverted. Al ternatively, you
can specify that the devi ces will ring until the
caller hangs up.

Adding a device to a list

You can have up to five devices in each list. To add a d evice to any of the lists, enter one of th e
following in any of the available fie lds:
for video endpoints: enter any URL o r alias with which the device is reg istered.
for 3G mobile phones: to route video t o your mobile phone, you must have a 3G ga teway - enter
the gateway’s prefix followed by the mo bile phone number. To route voice only, enter th e mobile
phone number along with any pr efixes required by your dial plan f or external calls.
for telephones: enter the extensi on number (for internal calls) or telep hone number, along with
any necessary prefixes.

Removing

a device

To remove
a device
from a
list, simply
delete the
text from
the relevant
field.

Primary Devices

List the all the device(s) that will ring wh en
your FindMe name is first diall ed.
If more than one device is listed her e, they will
all ring at the same time.

Busy Devices

For an individual, list all the devic e(s) that will
ring immediately if any of the devi ces in the
Primary list are busy.
For a group of people, list all the devi ce(s) that
will ring immediately if all of the dev ices in the
Primary list are busy. (If some of the de vices
in the Primary list are busy, the rest w ill
continue to ring for the specif ied time before
the call will divert to the devic es listed here.)
If no devices are listed in this sect ion, the
caller will get a busy response if any/all of the
Primary devices are busy.

No Answer Devices

List all the device(s) that will ring if none o f the
devices in the Primary list ar e answered within
the specified time.
If no devices are listed here, the call er will
receive a “no answer” response if non e of the
Primary devices are answere d.
If you have selected a Timeout pe riod of ring
until caller hangs up, you will not be able to
list any devices here.

If no devices are configured fo r a
FindMe name, all calls to that name
will be rejected.
Ensure that none of
the Primary devices
are set to
Autoanswer. If they are, the
system will consider the call
to have been answered when
Autoanswer is initiated, and
so it will not divert the call to
any other devices.
Username
The username for this FindM e account.

FindMe name

The FindMe name being conf igured.

Save Changes

Click here to update your FindM e account with any changes.

Change Password

Click here to change the password u sed to
access your FindMe accou nt. You will be
taken to a new page where you can enter t he
new password.

Log Out

Click here to exit the FindMe ac count
configuration page.
