Message Details FieldFor all messages logged from t he tandberg proces s the field is structured to al low easy parsing.
It consists of a number of human- readable name= value pairs, separated by a space.
The first field is always:
Field Example Description
Event Event=RegistrationRequest The event which caused the log m essage to be
generated.
and the last fields of the messa ge are always:
Field Example Description
Level Level=1 The level of the event being logged.
Time Time =2006/20/01-14:02:17 The UTC date and time at which the even t was
generated.
Event Log FormatThe event log is displayed in an extens ion of the UNIX syslog format:
date time host _name facility _na me <PID>: message_ details
where:
Field Description
date the local date on which the mess age was logged
time the local time at which t he message was logged
host _ name the name of the system generatin g the log message
facility_ na me the name of the program gener ating the log message. This will be
tandberg for all messages ori ginating from TANDBERG proc esses, but
will differ for messages from t hird party processe s which are used in the
VCS product
message _ details the body of the message (see M essage details field for fur ther
information)
Viewing the Event LogTo view the event log:
Status > Event Log.
You will be taken to the Event Log page,
where you can search and view the Eve nt
Log.

Select whether you want the old est or newest
items to appear at the top of the log.
