3.10 To Adjust the Image Density in Toner Save Mode

The image density in toner save mode is adjustable, as desired.

The e-STUDIO281c/351c/451c offers toner save mode. It is intended to automatically decrease the image density and reduce the amount of toner used to print the output. Adjust the upper limit of the image density in toner save mode, in order to obtain the desired print density.

‰Procedures

* All the adjustments are performed by the service technician only.

(1) Change the value for an appropriate code in adjustment mode [05] to adjust the image density in toner save mode.

*The [05] code to use varies, depending on whether to adjust the image quality in full-color printing or black-and-white printing. Use either of the procedures below corresponding to the type of original to print.
