3. Printer-specific Adjustments
Procedure
*The adjustment is performed by the service technician, and by the user.
(1) Change the "Pure Gray" setting on the printer driver.
("Pure Gray" allows gray areas to always be reproduced using all toner colors (C, M, Y and K) without changing the hue of color areas.)
*This adjustment will be effective, only if you print out a file created on a general application, such as Microsoft Office. Please be careful that it may not be effective, if you print out a file or PDF file created on a graphic application (e.g. Illustrator) or a DTP application (e.g. QuarkXPress).

Open the property page of the printer driver. Unmark the "Pure Gray" checkbox in the "Image Quality" Tab.
