1 All Clear Initializes items 2 to 15 below.
2 Engine Initializes all registration settings for the engine and co py
process settings.
3 SCS Initializes default system settings, SCS (System Control
Service) settings, operation display coordinates, and ROM
update information.
4 IMH Memory Initializes the image file system.
(IMH: Image Memory Handler)
5 MCS Initializes the automatic delete time setting for stored
documents.
(MCS: Memory Control Service)
6 Copier application Initializes all copier application settings.
7 Fax application Not used.
8 Printer application Initializes the printer defaults, programs registered, the printer
SP bit switches, and the printer CSS counter. (Not used)
9 Scanner application
Initializes the defaults for the scanner and all the scanner SP
modes.

Web Service/
Network application Deletes the Netfile (NFA) management files and thumbnails,
and initializes the Job login ID.
Netfiles: Jobs to be printed from the document server using a
PC and the DeskTopBinder software

NCS Initializes the system defaults and interface settings (IP
addresses also), the SmartNetMonitor for Admin settings,
WebStatusMonitor settings, and the TELNET settings.

Clear DCS Setting Initializes the DCS (Delivery Control Service) settings.

Clear UCS Setting Initializes the UCS (User Information Control Service) settings.

4. Press "Execute", then follow the prompts on the display to complete the
procedure.
5. Make sure that you perform the following settings:
Do the printer and scanner registration and magnification adjustments (
3-19-1 to 3-19-3)
Do the touch screen calibration ( 3-20).
Refer to the SMC data lists and re-enter any values which had been
changed from their factory settings.

6. Check the copy quality and the paper path, and do any necessary adjustments.
